WESTERN MIDDLE SCHOOL

Sixth grade is an exciting first step into middle school at Western. Students move from one or two home classrooms to four core classes located in their own hallway, gaining independence as they learn to use lockers and manage their daily schedules and class periods. Along with new responsibilities, sixth graders enjoy special traditions and memorable experiences throughout the year—including a class field trip to the Indiana Repertory Theatre and the Explorer Hallway’s annual trip to Mi Familia.
