WESTERN MIDDLE SCHOOL

Eighth grade is a milestone year at Western Middle School as students step into leadership roles and prepare for their transition to high school. As the oldest students in the building, eighth graders set the tone for the school while gaining greater independence by selecting their encore classes and taking advantage of opportunities to earn high school credit. The year is filled with meaningful traditions and memorable experiences, including a field trip to the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Patriot Day, and an end-of-the-year bowling celebration—making eighth grade a fitting and exciting finale to their middle school journey.
